Professionally trained as an Engineer I have worked for nearly two decades in Software Engineering and Electronics research both in India and US. Currently have a wellness startup and am back to my motherland- India.

Had the enormous blessing to learn Buddha Dhamma (Vipassana courses in S N Goenka tradition) in this very life. Sat my first course in 2001 and although only a fledgling on the path- Vipassana has influenced me greatly and I do have a strong intention to liberate myself from all suffering.

Since life is fleeting, leaving you with the basic lesson from the Buddha: Vipassana meaning Right view is the practice of objectively observing thoughts and feelings (without judgment or reaction) while reflecting on the three characteristics of existence-

  1. The sensory ā€œIā€ is an illusion (Anatta or non self).
  2. In reality everything in the sensory universe is constantly changing due to contact between mind and matter, and is subject to impermanence (Anicca or Impermanence).
  3. It is hence meaningless to create attachment towards such a fleeting impermanent reality – the cause of our suffering (Dukkha or Suffering).

In short, this will also change.
